Hi all,
I know we've got that CMS sticky up at the top, but what else does a web designer/dabbler need? Fonts!
How about we start a list of the best scam-free font sites out there. Anyone who's typed "free fonts" into Google knows there's a ton of trash to wade through...

I haven't had the time to search the font sites y'all posted yet but I would like to shortcut reading the fine print - I work for a SMALL (>10 employees) company and the person who built our original site used a font that is pay for use - the freebie Microsoft version introduces a visual error egregious to me but not my employer (in this matter I hold sway - believe me the substitute font is hideous) |

I also go with the OP and recommend dafont.com . I've found tons of REAL nice fonts on there before. Highly recommended.
