I don't see this attitude in other professions (e.g., doctors, lawyers). Why the bitterness? -- CRUNCH THIS!

I think it stems to most it workers being the "geeks" and being abused in school. They finally have something they can hold over the "jocks" and popular peoples heads. I mean really can we all expect every one using a computer to know how to reinstall their network stack if it breaks ? I don't understand all the bitterness either. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!"
