I just noticed they have an option to buy "Fuel". Is it worth it? I dont mind spending a few bucks if the reporting actually does some good. -- Dual Boot WinXP/Ubuntu. |

| I pay for Spamcop (I do the annual subscription, for several years now). The reporting works fine, but the response is only as good as the person getting the report. I usually report using the "mole" mode, which doesn't actually send a spam complaint, but it keeps the SCBL up to date with the latest. I also like the fact that Spamcop supports IMAP, which means that I have a good offline storage for my email, and pretty decent spam filtering for any email that goes through their system. IMO, worth the money for those reasons. |

| reply to Sid I pay too because I'd rather pay for something then see a good program have to resort to ads. Most of the "free" programs aren't really free. Someone else is just paying for them, most often advertisers.

| reply to Sid I have the $30/year email account with them. Unfortunately for me, I accidentally allowed my Spamcop address to get onto Usenet unmunged, so now I get spammed on it. It used to be I got around 4-5 spams a week; that number has now doubled.
I tried looking for a way I could change the email address I gave to them, but didn't see any in the webmail page options. -- "Kayura or Badamon, whichever you are, you should know that I will never give up this battle.
