Re: Using Westell 327w as a wired switch/wireless AP
I have my 327w setup as an AP only. Here's what you can do.
a. Disable all WAN functions(disable ATM, choose
ethernet so the modem doesn't look for a DSL signal)
b. disable private DHCP server
c. turnoff the firewall.
d. enable the wireless preferably with WPA if available.
e. connect the cable to one of your router's LAN port to
the 327w LAN port(E2).
d. start wireless pc to test connection, make sure the
encryption keys match the 327w wireless keys. |
