Off Topic -Internet Explorer 6 unable to click

This is an unusual problem. Is anyone aware of any differences in this site than all the other internet sites. This is the only site that IE 6 loads correctly, but I am unable to click on any links(left side of page)with the mouse. The mouse highlights the correct area, but nothing happens. I am able to click on the threads. I am using Win98SE and have tried different security and Java selections without success. Other sites work fine. Also, Mozilla Firefox works fine. Does anybody have any ideas???

Thanks,

Al

Re: Off Topic -Internet Explorer 6 unable to clic

Do you have any other software that might block links or scripts such as firewall or Proxomitron or similar?

Re: Off Topic -Internet Explorer 6 unable to click

I have already tried inactivating firewall (zone alarm) and antivirus softwate (avast) and the problem remains. Does anyone know whate differences between firefox and IE6 that allows firefox to work on the same win98SE computer.
Also of interest is the plugin in firefox that allows to view the page in IE does not work for this page, but does work for other sites.

I would start here

»Security »I think my computer is infected or hijacked. What should I do?

This is abnormal behavior and first this would be a good thing to rule out.
