The idea was if I cashed the check, they would automatically switch my long distance to AOL LD. Well, being short on money at the time, I endorsed the check and deposited it in my bank. My long distance never got switched! Banks do this too only the amount is like $2.50 then by cashing it, you get suckered into a $129/year travel shoppers service
