| Route from West Hills to San Jose
Well I called your wonderful (take wonderful as sarcastic) tech support department today and asked why is my signal being routed from West Hills (yeah I live near your offices, I actually stopped by today but I see you lock your doors) to Chicago then to San Jose and was told to call SBC because you have no real customer support. I humored him and called SBC and like I suspected they told me you have total control of your routers. Even the supervisor at SBC said that route is ridiculous. So for the second time in about a week and a half I sent an email to you through your web based support, still haven't got an answer from the first time even though your site says 24 - 48 hours, asking why my signal goes to Chicago adding 50+ ping. Here is the tracert:

Let me know if you will fix this or if I have to look somewhere else.
Thank you. |

| I also experienced some "funky" routing via wvfiber (see »New Routing (wvfiber.net)? ), but it was fixed quickly. Not sure if DSLX fixed it, or wvfiber did.
I did a tracert to the IP you mentioned and am not seeing the same as you:

1 edit | reply to Mika24 Hi Mika24,
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It looks like a miss route in the WVFiber network. In testing I am also taking the Level 3 route that Sw Bill is seeing. So we can further isolate the route can you please send me an IM with your account information including the current IP address. I can then have our network operations team further investigate the route.
