I am a new dsl customer . November 2005. Brand new 5100 was shipped to me .Download speed was terrible 184 kbs . I upgraded to Pro Pkg. My speed was no better . After several phone calls a SBC tech came out and replaced the 5100 with a 4100. Speed was no better but they did something on thier end because several days and calls later because my download speed is now 1850 kbs and 2.4mbs consistantly.

OK 2.4mbs for the Pro package is on target the 1.85 would be considered a bit slow. So if you really get 2.4mb down you should be happy.
