| [Praise] Cingular Sales Associate
My son is home from college for break. He told me his cell phone was not working right. I looked at it, it looked like it had been through a war. I thought I would have to replace it so up to the cingular store near my home. I was greeted by a nice younger man who asked if he could help. I showed him the phone and said I probably would have to replace it. Instead of trying to sell me another phone he went to a cabinet by his desk and took out a box of partially assembled phones. He proceeded to take my phone apart and reassemble it with parts from other phones. When he was done I had a phone that was in much, much better condition than the one I brought in, it also worked perfectly. I asked what I owed and he said thats OK you dont owe me anything. Needless to say I was impressed and this young man proved that service and good will is not dead. If more companies would follow his example think how nice the world would be. My hats off to this Cingular employee. |

| That seems to be the case in a lot of areas. Around here the last time I went to a Cingular store they had a guard at the door and would only allow one customer per sales person into the store. When I was there it was about 25 degrees outside and I made it known I would never deal with Cingular again.
And no, this was not a bad neighborhood. I have since moved to Verizon, took my number with me and have not looked back. -- FWD#: 223611 |

1 edit | reply to CCat I have had several similar experiences as CCat had at my local Cingular Store.
Always friendly courteous and extremely helpful. Have been given SIM cards at no cost, parts for my v551 that I lost (rubber bumpers) and even a new battery for my v3 that's 6 months old.
I wouldn't have any phone service but Cingular! -- AMD: When you care enough to purchase the best. |
