Your Verizon email addy stays the same but gets housed on a Yahoo Server and has the Yahoo Features instead of verizon. You can pop it still but you'll want to change your server settings to; incoming.yahoo.verizon.net and outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net and also as the above post didn't show to now access your email online you would goto mail.yahoo.com and type in your verizon email address as a user name and your password and login with that information just as SBCGlobal users do to access the Online version of the email service. since it's now on yahoo's server, which is better for yahoo virus protection at the very least since if you get a virus emailed yahoo will reject the message where as if someone sends it to your regular verizon account hello virus. it has it's pros and cons just like any other consumer service and once you go yahoo you don't go back so sleep on the thoughts and then consider your upgrade, it is a added value to your dsl services, just the Launchcast premium features etc. etc. make it worth it for me. |

| reply to StarFish267 starfish267 - thanks for the details. I did play vz's yahoo flash page and it had lots of faqs and info - similar to what you mentioned.
Unfortunately, flash based text cannot be captured. I have screen shots and plan to review them in more detail later. |
