| Re: Yahoo upgrade for existing DSL customers There is really no problems with the program it self but it tring to get rid of it is two different things together. First when you select it you are getting rid of msn which they are going to stop offering it anyways cause it is hell dealing with microsoft. When you want to switch back to msn The techs were trained to transfer to billing cause they have to talk with yahoo billing rep so it takes two people to do this which is stupid and a waist os our time and yours, but the problem is billing was never trained, Verizon is the worst in communicating info to he people that are supposed to help so don't get mad at the techs or the billing reps as they are way underpaided to being with and the pressure is ridiculou. They do there best which is not enough I know which is why I quit that terible place cause verizon does not care about there customers and they have 12 minutes to get you off the phone or they will be fired. ow uninstalling the program is tuff just like getting rid of aol or msn, but it is not imposible. Just take it out of addremove programs, it may leave icons behind which is no big deal, I mean come on it is no worse than what any other isp has for a portal just make sure you want it and you don't have to install software to get the 2gig e-mail storage any ways just x out of the install before it goes to install and you account will be upraded. If any of yourare affrad of installing software on your pc the internet is not for you anyways cause The same people that complain about yahoo or msn software is the same people that download all kinds of spyware and virus cause that can't stop surfing porn sites so make up your own mind don't let other people sway your decisions cause they are just upset cause there pc is hosed. | |

That was helpful. Telling the people who come here for help that perhaps the Internet is not for them. Remember, If you are here to bash Verizon or Vent about how bad it is there, we are not interested. This is a forum for helping others not a place for you to complain about your former employer. Please re-read your posts before you make them and there IS a spell check here. -- »voipboards.net | |

| Re: Yahoo upgrade for existing DSL customers If you read the post carefully you would have seen that I was only bashing the fact that IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THIS PROGRAM IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET RID OF. I have had and enjoyed the use of Verizon DSL and also use Yahoo as my home page with additional e-adds there. No problem with either of them. I was finally able to use one of my accts on Outlook but the other two will not work no matter how many times I change the passwords on Outlook or at Verizon. The program was much more invasive than it was advertised. I mostly wanted a better spam guard as verizon lets spam through to my Outlook program every day. Now I have all kinds of crap that I do not want. I have been able to get rid of most of it but it will never completley go away. | |
