Whats your point about me having Comcast? Im not getting Dway at the install price they want or monthly service and its not going to be as fast. DSL is not an option and dial up sure as hell is not happening before I die.
Oh I was just giving you a hard time. I'd do the same if I saw a GM worker driving a Ford. Anyways, I'd contact your HR department. They should be able to provide you with a list of different places that offer discounts.

and GM still does offer Dtv employees discounts on new vehicles as well as Sprint/Nextel.
GM gives Comcast employees vendor discount as well. Many large corporations that work together in some way do this. It's nothing new.

I had no idea Dtv was no longer controlled by GM and was just asking for info. Like it was said people get deals and discounts from companies other than their own and GM still does offer Dtv employees discounts on new vehicles as well as Sprint/Nextel. Anyways just wanted to see what other places gave out discounts/deals.

If your a Directv employee working in a call center

you get all programming for free, and also get to see channels in advance before when they launch to customers

Yep, GM employees get something like 10%, Waste management employees have the best discount, 30% off.

Within the past few months I started working installing Dtv. I went to get a cell phone and the employee gave me a phone cheap. Dtv is part of GM and thus giving me a discount on Sprint/Nextel.
So let me get this straight, you are a Comcast sub working for DirectTV that no longer is owned or controlled by GM looking for discounts similar to the one you got from Sprint/Nextel which is completely unrelated to any of the above companies. Did I get that straight?

Where can I find out about other places and discounts I am eligble to receive? I hate dealing with office run a round and would rather be able to browse over it on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
