I'm around 10,000feet from the CO office. I've used DrTCP already with minor improvements. -- I gave my cat a bath the other day ... they love it. He sat there, he enjoyed it, it was fun for me. The fur would stick to my tongue, but other than that . . .- - - Steve Martin |

| •Download DrTCP •Set TCP Receive Window (RWIN) to 37960 •Leave Windows Scaling, Time Stamping, Selective Acks, Path MTU Discovery and Black Hole Detection default •Clear TTL and Max Duplicate Acks boxes. •Hit Save, Exit and Reboot your computer. •Download a file from here note your speed at 40% and post it in your thread. •Post another tweak test and best of three speed tests closer to you from here once you reboot your computer. -- Computer Consulting for the Next Generation. |

| Looks like you're getting the right speed from downloading however your speed tests which are java based are off or even much slower. What version of Java you're using? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? -- Computer Consulting for the Next Generation. |

| reply to Remington Unfortunately, I have a Netopia 3341 with usb that acts as the router. The only thing I haven't tried is putting it into bridge mode and then using RASPPPoE or similar program for the PPPoE. Need to read up on it and try it out. -- I gave my cat a bath the other day ... they love it. He sat there, he enjoyed it, it was fun for me.
