There is no "best" AV, only one which is best suited for your hardware, surfing habits and personal likes. And has been stated, no AV is 100% effective. You might check out the 2005 AV poll for some opinions on the various programs available. »[Poll] Antivirus Poll 2005 -- God put me on this Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. I'm using Avast and I like it a lot, I used to use Norton on my 98SE box and I liked that too, never a problem.
It's not about "what's the best", it's about what works for you, your habits and your computer. There is no "100%" effective if your habits will circumvent your AV, no matter which one you use. -- ~~~...and I miss you, like the deserts miss the rain...~~~ |
