| reply to christcorp Re: [Packet8] Thank you packet8!
I can echo that, Mike. I recently retired, and going to Pk8 allowed me to reduce our phone bill by $45.
We were also able to reduce our cell to a single phone at the fewest minutes, and use it primarily as backup to Pk8. We also forward all calls to it when we travel.
With the increased stability on Pk8 in the past few weeks, Packet8 has become the ideal setup for us. |

| Not a big deal to some, but this was probably the first "Real" test for my wife and kids. The wife wasn't too thrilled about going to VOIP and giving up the land line. We have cell phones with a gazillion minutes, so long distance wasn't a big issue. She did like saving $30-$40 a month for regular phone.
Like I said, for the last 3 months it's been just a phone that worked like a regular one. For Christmas however, we called 6 or more long distance calls all over the united states to say merry christmas to our family. NOT ONE call had any echos, static, noise, drop outs, etc... It was perfect. Thank You Packet8. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Later... Mike... |
