Apparament le probleme ne touche pas tous les abonnées de videotron mais certains plages d'ip et certains secteurs ...
Due a des problemes de routages ... ou de bridages volontaire (Qui sait ?) Primus TBB ne fonctionne plus depuis l'apres midi du 24 decembre ... j'ai cru d'abord a primus ... mais bizzarement apres avoir branchez leur gateway sur mon dsl tout fonctionne ... avec AOL VIF BELL ELECTRONICBOX ETC ...
J'ai abonné une 12 aine de personne de qubec qui ont videotron a primus ... ils n'ont jamais eu de probleme... c est leur premier ... en plus de 6 mois ... Merci videotron de m'avoir deranger le jour de noel ... ce soir les personnes qui avait primus n'ont tjs pas leur service ...
Heureusement que ces personnes sont comprehensive ... et qu'il ont bien vu ... quand j'ai branchez la boite que tout fonctionne chez moi et que c est videotron ... j'ai des personnes a Montreal et sa marche ... bizzare ...
Sur le forums de primus ont en parle aussi ! et beaucoup ont ce probleme ... et UNIQUEMENT avec videotron !
Ils ont appele videotron ...
Vous savez ce qu'il ont repondu ... c est pas nous ... et vous savez primus sa marche pas super ... la voip c est pas le top ... Vous voulez pas vous abonner a notre service de telephonie par cable ? c est fiable etc ... sur les 12 personnes qui ont apelles ... Toutes eux la meme reponse et differente personnes au support techniques !
Est ce un coup de pub ??? pour faire croir que primus c est de la m...
Alors est ce une simple erreur de routage ... ou un gros coup de pub ... l'annee derniere ... il me semble qu'a la meme epoque Canal Indigo devenait Hors Service ... et la on nous matraquait a coup de VOD ...
En tout cas 48 h sans telephone pour 5 des personnes que j'ai abonnée ... je trouve pas sa correcte ... surtout le 24 et le 25 decembre ...
Pour la plupart de ces personnes leur contrat ce finit au mois de fevrier et mars ... a votre avis ... que vont faire ces 12 personnes :
canceller leur abonnement a videotron !
Ou vont t elle aller ? En dry loop bien sur 
Vraiment videotron me decoit encore un peu plus :'( !

Since this morning (December 24th) I have no service at all and the status LED on the Dlink TalkBroadband Gateway is red. I noticed it when I checked my e-mail: there was a voice-mail message, but not blinking light on my phone. Then I noticed that the line was down. No tone at all.
My internet service is working perfectly. I've resetted both the cable modem and the Gatway. No change.
I contacted the technical service and it seems that many customers who use Videotron as internet provider have the same problem. It is possibly a connection problem between Videotron and Primus (althought I suspect that Videotron could do that purposedly to get Primus customer to move to their Videotron Voip service -- from previous experiences I know that Videotron is not above such tactics).
I also contacted Videotron to notify them of the problem.
Anybody has a similar problem or an update on that situation?
It's quite inconvenient to be deprived of phone service for Christmas...

I have the same problem - line is out of service - and my Videotron IP address is a 69.x.x.x so I guess it's a "larger" problem that assumed here...
I hope this will get fixed and that Videotron will cease any tactics to drag Primus customers to their own service, if they ever did intent such tactics.

Well im sorry to hear that Videotron users are having problems...im a videotron user myself...actually i have a 69. ip also and seriously i have had no problems yet..ive been with primus since the begining of this year..and videotron before and since the new setup with voip i havent had any problems..i hear also alot of you are having them now around the x-mas holidays..but on my side of things in montreal..im still fine and my voip service works fine..
Guys if you dont mind the ones with Videotron and ur having problems..want to just tell us what city ur curently in !!

Je peux juste ajouter que mon service VOIP marche encore... mais avec un autre fournisseur qui par défaut utilise le port 5060...
Pouvez-vous configurer quel port sera utilisé? |

LE monde qui ont ces probleme la.. yen a de l'ouest que ca marche, de l'est ca marche pas.. si y'en a qui peuvent poster des traceroute svp. Je tente de verifier de quoi avec du monde.

I am almost sure that it is a routing problem between videotron and primus. People that get attribued the 66.x.x.x address by videotron probably don't have primus service. As you can see my office has the 69.x.x.x address and sees the call agent.
Can a primus tech support person look at this as I have no phone service and I'm sure many others as well.
Even my google mail is not working !!!

car avec magma sa passe par le toronto IX .. et sa fonctionne ...

videotron peut rerouter en attendant via LEVEL3 par exemple ...
sa serait tellement simple de rerouter une ip ... 216.254.141.218
... et sa fonctionnerait numero un ...
meme si on perd en ms ... pourvu que sa marche ... car 2 jours sans telephone et en plus le 24 et 25 ... no comment !

j'aurait pas du utiliser magma lol
en passant le traceroute ne veut rien dire ! car via certains fournisseur ... Aol par exemple sa ne se rend pas au serveur mais sa fonctionne pourtant ...

le dernier IP 216.254.129.3 appartient à primus est c'est la que ça bloque !!!!
Avez-vous le meme tracert que moi? Si jamais quelqu'un parle à primus mentionner cet adresse IP.
Bon, je commence à m'ennuyer de mon téléphone.... :-(
J'ai aussi beaucoup de misère avec dslreports. Tres tres slow et pas d'image ? Vous ?
