Re: [Other] F5D7050 Driver Fix

Belkin F5D7050 have 3 versions.

Before you download look at the bottom of the box and look for the version number.

Make sure you download the right version for your device to prevent problems from arising.

I just bought the F5D7050 Wireless USB adapter. It was version v3000, and belkin website had a driver dated 12/22/2005. The driver works flawlessly even on my WinXP Pro SP2 system, so if you have a v3000 at least, there's no need to mess around with another driver.

Be sure to select "F5D7050v3" when you are in their support website. I wish they fix this to avoid confusion.

with the device plugged into the PC go to device manager, select the device with the yellow exclaimation.

the info looks like VID_050D&PID7050

These are the id's for my old device. it works fantastically now with modified 2005/07/22 USB driver for the 11g-RT2500

many thanks
