Re: Disconnecting Problem while playing Online Game!!

Are you losing sync when your game connection drops?

Thanks for your help but what is sync and how do you know you are losing sync and how do you check? I know that is a dumb question but I seriously don't know so can you guys explain it to me or show me how to get to it? Thanks a lot guys and Merry Christmas

Okay I just went to play some games again... And when I drop out this time, on my router, the internet light is blacked out which mean no green light on the internet thing. I found out that it is not just online gaming. I am losing connection constantly while surfing the web also. I get disconnected for a while then it goes good then it stops again then it goes good and so on. Is this my router or is this related to the NIC card or is it with the speedstream? Shoould I get a new NIC card or dsl modem or router? any suggestions please help me ! thank you

There are going to be some up front questions we will need to ask to figure out what is going on there like; What kind of modem do you have? What DSL service do you have and do you get the right speed from it? Do you know what your line stats are (this will be the big one). Are you sharing the line with other people and are they active when the disconnects occur? Is the router near a monitor or a halogen light? Do you have filters on all your other phone devices?

Disconnect problems can be hard to find but maybe we can figure it out.
