Re: [Other] F5D7050 Driver Fix

Thanks A LOT.
My device was working perfectly yesturday. Plugged it in today....nothing...yellow exclamation. Tried this and it worked perfectly. Not only do I not have to install that stupid wireless utility but it now works with wireless zero configuration. I think the problem was caused by my connecting to my home network through my lan card and windows updated itself and caused the problem. I dont see any other possible explanation for this.

I also threw away the box and now can't tell which version of the f5d7050 I got. Can anyone tell me if there a way to tell which version I have? (v1000, v2000 or v3000)

Thanx

I think there is a sticker on the bottom of the unit?

1 edit
No indication of the version on the outside of the unit, I have one and can't get it to work so I did a google search and this was the third hit. If you are willing to open it up there might be an indication of the model on the board itself, mine has V02 in a part of the text so im guessing it's a v2000. After a second look at the belkin site I was trying the v1 drivers so now I'm gonna try 2 and see if they work.

edit: Opening it didn't help, v2 drivers didn't work so I tried v3 and it finally worked.
