Sadly many will believe those sites.

Especially after the Tv and Print comes out.

We should seek legislation from disallowing this type of activity.

I fail to see how this will benefit the consumer.

  Hey, who cares who is giving them out. If you can make up a good enough tale of woe, you can get a free iPod. Besides who actually believes these web sites anyway. The only ones who will care are the cable companies, and their staffs and marketing budgets are big enough to counter the press from the telcos.

Anyway, all the front group is pushing for are state franchise laws so that national companies don't have to go town by town bribing local politicians in order to offer their TV service. They just want to bribe the politicians one time in each state.;)
