setting up home network

hi,
I have just bought a linksys WGKPC354G wireless-g adsl gateway kit for notebooks and I cannot get it working. I am trying to connect it to my pc and 2 laptops. I have the notebook adaptor which came with the kit, my other laptop has wireless installed and i bought a belkin usb adaptor for the pc. I have connected the gateway(with built-in modem) to the DSL line and power on but I do not wish to use the ethernet ports and the internet light is red. I think the network is working but it will not connect to the internet. anyone know how to solve this problem??
thanks

Re: setting up home network

I'm going to take a guess here, but I would think that the will need to call your ISP to get your new modem set up for their system. Most will need the mac address from the new modem.

You should expect to connect, via cable, in order to install and troubleshoot.

But other than that, you should be able to use all 3 computers wirelessly.

And yes, call your ISP ...
