| [General] Extreme price reduction
Just got off the phone with Bellsouth sales, to make some changes and they told me that on Jan 9(Mon) the price of extreme 3.0 will drop to $37.95. I asked what I had to do and he said that since I'm paying the straightforward price (44.95) I don't have to do anything. Price reductions are always good. |

| reply to TWCcdman Wow, this is great. This also puts to rest the arguments some people have made here that Bellsouth does not make money from DSL users. If they didn't make money on DSL, would they be LOWERING the price? Again?
In anycase.. kudos to Bellsouth. I will remain a customer as long as their service is stable and they don't put further restrictions on what I can do with my connection.
Price drops are always good, though I do sometimes get concerned there may be a "catch" in the future. |

| reply to TWCcdman Just got off the phone with BS billing support. I was told that my rate had changed automatically over the weekend to $37.95 as had the rate on all extreme 3.0 accounts.
Sounds like they got an earfull from too many customers on that last price decrease about having to call in and request the change so they decided to do it automatically this time. |
