|  Comcast's Game Invasion Plan
Alright I signed up for this plan which is "Up to 8Mbps download speed (maximum upload speed of 768Kbps)".
I own 2 X360's which connect to xbox live, and own 2 desktops. I live in Revere MA, and currently I'm on verizon's 1.5Mbps/384 package. I also own a d-link 4300 GamerLounge Wireless router that handles all of my connections.
I'm into heavy music, movie torrent downloads, I also subscribe to bangbros.com, so I do alot of heavy downloads, as well as gaming on the 360.
Now What will I expect, I think I will be recieving a motorola cable modem but I do not remember what model.
Will I be satisfied? My download speed just seem to suck right know. I have never been past "DSL Connect Rate (Down/Up) 1472 KBits/Sec by 448 KBits/Sec" if anything lower.

| Love the Bangbros.com comment! I don't know about MA, but here in Denver, my speed tests are hitting 9-10Mbps every time. During peak hours, it's around 6Mbps. And this started consistently about a week ago. Service, for me at least, seems to have improved greatly. I would expect that you should be getting something at least close to what you are paying for. |

I signed up for the Game Invasion plan about a week ago, since then, I have been getting around 8500 -9000 Kbps down and 716Kbps up. I live in Thornton, CO.

Their order page says 42.95 for 3 months, but I got mine for 39.99 for 6 months. I haven't had any promo's added to my account until this, so I am guessing that is why I got the cheaper. |
