Can't believe I never introduced myself in the prior thread.

My name is Gerald. I'm a senior systems analyst for Western Union currently residing in Cornelius, NC. I'm married with two cats. When I'm not crashing servers, I'm a volunteer firefighter in the current town I live in.

I started crunching back last year and have been crunching on and off for both projects since then. The main reason for crunching is that I have lost too many family members to cancer. My wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer (the preliminary stages of it) when she was younger, but had surgery to remove it and has been fine ever since (we'll even be able to have kids!).
