SunRocket is not responsible for what other people post on their blogs nor would they post a post which was libelous on Everyday Hogwash, that would be foolish.

Call it what you want.

As Andy indicated over at his blog, I wouldn't want to be SunRocket when those companies start complaining about misleading reports or libel.

It is not a fiasco. It is shrewd marketing. You are responding to the bait that SunRocket placed before you. The more people respond, the more publicity and business for SunRocket. The marketing gurus at SunRocket are pure Geniuses. What people think is not of importance, what is of importance is the bottom line. If it works, do it.

Seems to me, the only people with negative responses to the blogger responses (say that ten times fast!) would be Rocketeers.

Think about it... people don't tend to issue random put-downs to Om and Andy unless they seriously screw something up. Now, I'm not saying they're tech gods or anything, but I would think someone could find a more useful criticism than "they're boring" when it comes to their opinion of a SunRocket fiasco.

And as for the suggestion of padded reviews on the site, take it up with the mods and make sure you've got some damn good evidence behind you first. You're suggesting libel.
