1 edit		 An even better method is to go into LAB and then Curve. Adjust the "a" and "b" channels and lastly the "lightness" channel. Can be tricky but also can produce amazing results.

Hmmm.... I smell my next plugin! Bring Lab to the masses!

Converting to Lab is a snap. Coding customizable curves might well be beyond me, though... maybe I'll start off with your other simpler method. The math for overlaying is basically a one-liner.
