Go shadow until you hit 60 unless your the kind of player that would roll a warrior and only let him punch mobs with his fists. Shadow to 60, then change your talent points. Your healing won't take much of a hit if you go shadow.

 that's what i've got going now. going shadow until the high lvl instances. i'll then spec out to holy. be prepared for tons of whispers when you get into instance running like what was posted in an earlier thread. there is never enough priest on for every group. hell, im suprised priests dont charge sometimes.
btw, there is a shadow priest lvling guide around this forum somewhere.

QFT^^^ A holy/disc priest lvling is... painful. Spec shadow for your first 59 levels, then you can go holy/disc. Spi really isn't that important at low levels because you're soloing and in small fights. I'd go Int/Sta while lvling.
