[TEAM STARFIRE] Forum URL Change

It just occured to me that, since the name of the forum was changed to Team Starfire, perhaps the url should be changed from .../forum/seti to .../forum/starfire, or .../forum/teamstarfire. Mostly, just to avoid any potential confusion, and this would be more inline with Team Helix, which is .../forum/helix, etc... Maybe we could have a period of time that both the current, and new, url will work, followed by a permanent changeover, with a sticky up top warning of the impending change. What say you?

See where it says "Burnt-out Geek"? Means I'm sick of changing links every time I turn around.

Geaux Aweigh please.

Yeah, I thought about that, but what about past users that haven't been here awhile? Then there's links from other forums, Berkeley, and lord knows where else that would eventually need to change.

What Paul said. And, knowing as much about the site architecture as I do, it's much easier said than done.

Not to mention the ever-important Google page ratings.

Yeah, I didn't think about all the links coming in. No problem.

Not real crazy about the tone of this post. However, considering your style, I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt here. Hopefully, I just took it the wrong way?

Burnt-out is quoted from my psych chart.

I like to play with the inter-language phonics of "Geaux."

Bottom line: I object to your suggestion. I intend no insult, so please don't read any into it!

Cool, I hoped that was the case. Pardon my being a bit touchy.

¡No problema!

If you've followed me for a while, you've seen touchy in the extreme!

A couple years of therapy and tons of medication later...

Yeah, steam train rides are very therapeutic, but I've gotten on one every 30 years, so I don't think that's efficacious.
