Re: DSL sales also keep their POTS customers too

"A nice bonus for Verizon is that since they don't sell naked DSL, all those new DSL users keep customers locked into Verizon's phone service as well. And I suspect that they may then be able to sell many of those customers on bundles of DSL, long Distance, & wireless as well."
Exactly what I was talking about. A Verizon Basher. You have no idea of what you are talking about. You are passing off your bogus opinion as fact. Verizon does offer Dry Loop and UNEP (Verizon DSL different Phone provider) DSL which can be order through over the phone.

Never assume what someone (even me) types on this page as fact people! Read, Research, and think for yourself.

Really??
Well that isn't what their web site says: »www22.verizon.com/ForHomeDSL/cha···ault.asp

anywhere in fBA, there are 5 CLEC's that allow Verizon to add their DSL to the line. And naked DSL is available anywhere in fBA providing you are able to bill to a credit card (no debit card) and you are serviced by a plain copper line. No overlay DSLAM's or Remote Terminals. Your line must be copper from the CO to your NID. Naked dsl is priced on average $8 a month higher.

If you sing up at best buy you get a 20 dollar gift card that should cover for your activation fee.

DSL Without Local Service. Verizon Online now offers "Verizon Online DSL without local service" for Subscribers who "port" their local telephone service to a wireless or internet telephony (VoIP) voice provider, or who drop their Verizon voice service, or customers who want to subscribe only to Verizon Online DSL. Subscribers who change their underlying voice service will move to Verizon Online DSL without local service plans, and different terms and pricing from those that applied to their service before the change may apply.

The changes regarding Verizon Online DSL without local service are to Paragraph 2, Definition of Service, Paragraph 8.3 (Changes to your local voice telephony service), Paragraph 12, Term and Termination, and Paragraph 13.1.1, Pricing and Payment.
