I think you live in Brooklyn, NY. The MCO is full and they won't have an available circut possibly for another 3 weeks, they will delay your SRD I am fairly sure until then. Not 110% sure, just an educatated guess.
You're right. The technician came over yesterday evening and finished the wiring in my apt. I called this morning to ask why I never received my modem and installation kit. I spoke with someone from Verizon local and they confirmed that CO is full and weren't taking any order and possibly in February, there'll be available circuits. Any way to expedite this?:( |

| I would like to order "dry loop dsl" via Verizon for my new apartment in Washington DC. After reading these forums, I am unclear whether I can actually call Verizon and order "Dry Loop DSL" or whether I need to go through the charade of:
--Ordering POTS + DSL. --Switch to CC bill. --Port POTS to Vonage. --Wait for number to transfer. --Cancel Vonage.
And then end up with dry loop DSL via Verizon. Option #1: placing an order for what I really want is infinitely better. But if not possible, then option #2 is what I will do.
But beofore embarking on this jounrey, I wanted to reconfirm that the humans at Verizon are now taking orders for "Dry Loop DSL."
Thanks. |
