It's not beyond the realm of possible, but what you're saying is very unlikely.
When the body, murder weapon, and motive point to the same suspect,
could it be someone else? Yes, but it's usually the suspect.
It had crossed my mind - months ago...... Of course I would never do something like that, but I did jokingly say once that an obsessed FIOS fan could forge many letters to the town mayor.
