So I need to make my primary partition smaller to use this or are you talking about free space on the drive? If thats the case then I dont want to use this. But I doubt MS would require you to mess with partitions if this program is meant to make things simpler

Did you read the links I posted, you can place the unallocated space on other drives or use the same drive. The even give links to free utilities that will alter partitions and reclaim free space back to un-allocated space.
