thanks for the head up. I previously used az successfully for most torrnets but never for those seeded from asia, no connections. I turned to Bitcomet and got through with flying colourful ninjas. Maybe the diff was bitcomet's encryption function, not sure, but now that az has it I can test this theory out. |

Same social/cultural dynamic at work in Europe: AZ comes out of France. 
Because BC & AZ now have two incompatable divisions impacting peer connections, DHT and encrypted packet recognition, the divide will deepen, unfortunately. It's too bad as both camps could learn from each other: AZ needs to update their GUI so it's more compact and BC needs to improve protocol adherence. BC does some great stuff, but doesn't appear to give a shit about compatability - social or technical. |

join:2003-03-18 Beverly Hills, CA | What's odd is that my download is throttled from 220kb/sec to 1kb/sec so very often... I thought it was my connection problems so it turn out that it's a p2p thing. I downgraded my 6mb expert tier to pro speed just to resolve this problem. oh well. |
