| How do I find out my MOBO specs?
I know this seems like a basic question, but I picked up a little bit of an older system that I want to mess with. The only thing I can find on it is that it is an AMD Duron 800mhz. I want to find out the specs on this board, like how much RAM it will handle etc. I have never owned an AMD so any direction that you can point me for this MOBO would be great! |

| IF the computer runs, try belarc advisor. that will tell you what the motherboard is. CPU-Z will give you basic motherboard/chipset info. otherwise you'll have to hunt around on the motherboard itself to see if there is any printing saying who made it and what model it is.. -- You don't quit playing 'cause your OLD. You get old BECAUSE you quit playing!! |

I need to install it, as I just formatted last weekend. This is a really great program.

I recommend 'EVEREST Home Edition.' It's been discontinued as of Dec. 1, 2005 but is still available for download on sites like Majorgeeks (link in FAQ.) |
