| Re: So much for the rest of us well, just for the simple fact that they haven't done anything to show what their intentions are. However, they have announced that they are scaling back their plans to deploy ADSL2+ and VDSL.
Other than that, all we've heard is BS whining about Google getting a "free ride" on their networks and how BS should be getting paid from Google, to use their network.
Utter and complete rubbish, is all that we have heard from BellSouth in recent months. Now granted, I realize that just because they haven't issued a bunch of press doesn't mean they aren't doing anything, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Besides, my ISP isn't BellSouth anyway but it would be nice to know that this particular RBOC cared about it's market...all of it's market, not just the most profitable, or high income areas. -- Forget 'em, Support the Indies.»www.ind-music.com

I take it then that you know all the inner workings and upgrades that BellSouth has or has not been doing. Just because you don't "see" anything happening or read press releases does not mean they are sitting on their hands. Keep in mind that companies are not obligated to give daily press briefings on each phase of their network upgrades.

In fact, I think I made my statement perfectly clear that "...I realize that just because they haven't issued a bunch of press doesn't mean they aren't doing anything..."
I was just stating my dissatisfaction with the current state of things here in BellSouth country. -- Forget 'em, Support the Indies.»www.ind-music.com
