Why is it that when I add something to the Registry like the blocklist Microsoft AntiSpyware would pop up asking me to allow or block but with this new Microsoft Defender nothing pops up.
I think I could get used to the way it looks but will it protect me as good as Microsoft AntiSpyware?

1 edit | This may sound funny but I am strating to like it. It starts up very fast and the interface is very easy to use.
The only thing I am worried about is if it will do just as good or better of a job at protecting my pc then Microsoft Antispyware.
I guess people will be testing both of them. |

@pacbell.n | reply to gate1975mlm Unknown changes are now are not alerted on - only things that are known to be bad are alerted on. You can of course turn on alerting on "unknown" changes too. It's in your General Settings right after all those real time protection agents... |
