except it does drop the connection. when you log in like PPPoE does, the slighest interfearence on the line causes a disconnect. router or not. not worth it for me at least until they make their DHCP switch. |

When I spoke to a csr at Comcast tonight about the upgrade, she mentioned (of course) Reston,Va. to see how well it works with CDV. Then she said In. and Mi. next. FWIW.

So basically the only reason they are testing to see if the new speeds are"compatible" with CDV? Sounds like bs to me! I think its rather a fear of the systems may not have the proper hardware to handle all of those simultaneous connections. |
