is verizon fios in ur area as well? because if it is, this could be comcast competing with them

Yes sir. same price.

The rumor mill here in jax is saying that other areas will be rolled out to 10Mb/1Mb for the gold tier for now though. I think the 16Mb/1Mb will be seen in fios competition areas first. I will post the mailing information later tonight
