The release notes don't seem to indicate that this release does much to address issues around some of the VPN reliability or Wireless problems that so many in this forum have reported.
Does ZyXEL read through these forums? Seems to me there would be a lot of nuggets for them if they made the effort. |

Flashed the ZyWall 35 first and it resolved the VPN issue that started with V4.0(WZ.3). Have flash one of the ZyWall 5's and have not found any new problems on either the 35 or 5. |

On my ZyWALL 5's and ZyWALL 35, VPN seems to have stabilized over previous versions post xx.2.
The issues with certain wireless clients not passing traffic still appears to be there however. |

With this version the UPnP features required by Messenger Remote Assistance and video now work. This is a real help for techs trying to support remote locations... |

Where exactly did you get this firmware?
I looked at the firmware page for the Zywall 5 and it only lists v3.62 and V4.00(XD.0)C0 (2005/9/10)Standard as available.
Could you post back a URL for me?

I mean the URL of the download library page at Zyxel, not the FTP page. I looked at the UTM and non UTM Zywall 5 firmware availability and it seems that I can't see it.
As far as I can see, there are no firmware available for the UTM version of the Zywall 5 UTM.
Any Thoughts? |

Thanks for the info. It seems that their FTP and web manager are not keeping the download library updated with all the new files. Most of these are not seen if you simply look at the item specific firmware available, IE, the Zywall 5 or 5UTM.

| The problem seems to be that there is a BIG difference between available files depending on where you happen to be browsing. The US site and the main site page list very different files. Also, you can use FTP at the US site and HTTP download at the main site. |
