Is Epson R220 slower than R200 it replaced?

On the Epson site, the R220 speed is listed as:
4x6 borderless photo "as fast as 57 seconds"

On the same site, the R200 speed is listed as:
4x6 in photo mode "39 seconds"

Did they really slow down the print speed in the newer model?

If there's more detail it will take longer to print out the better quality picture.

That makes sense, but the R300 is listed as
4x6 Photo in 37 seconds.

All are rated as 15 ppm printers.

My question is, is the R220 a "hobbled" version or is it as fast as the other 15 ppm Epsons?
