I have been a resident in Chicago most of my life. If you remember, Chicago was one of the last major US cities to deploy cable television. There was so much concern about who would be awarded the contract that the city in its infinite wisdom, decided to break the city up into regions. Three or four companies were awarded contracts and everyone suffered. Chicago had some of the worst cable TV service. I hope they do this right, but our Mayor Daley is more interested in an additional NFL franchise and hosting the Olympics! |
