 OSX.Inqtana.A detected on Symantec.com

i have NIS06 and just updated virus def and after updating virus def i read »securityresponse.symantec.com/av···a.a.html and NIS06 detected a virus on my system who ever has NIS06 dont worry if your NIS06 detects OSX as a virus its mistake by symantec virus def or NIS06 is detecting virus by its name (this means if u have XP) actually there is no virus!

The screenshot above is what happened when I went to the page in the above link. NOTE: It happened again when I clicked the link contained in the NIS alert, too. However, the screenshot does NOT produce an alert.

EDIT to add: This is with XP/Pro and obviously a FP since this virus affects the MAC OS.

Using definitions: Virus Definitions created February 17
Virus Definitions released February 17
Defs Version: 80217r
Sequence Number: 51942
Extended Version: 2/17/2006 rev. 18

Amy, I'm still getting that popup on that page. I don't have NIS just NAV2006 nor do I have a Mac.

I cleaned my cache out and I'm still getting it. I see the date change to 2/18/06 though.

I ran Live Update manually and saw that there were 2 virus definitions updates available. After updating - so far - [knocks on wood] no more alerts...
