Re: Any update on reselling FIOS?

They don't have to resell copper either after recent FCC ruling. I thougth FCC here to protect consumers instead they are protecting telcos recently.

Let me guess. Verizon is conveniently having various technical/billing/legal/etc issues preventing them from letting you (DSLX) resell their fiber to the home, but is happy to waste your time making you think they will actually do it at some point.

Hate to say it but I seriously doubt that this will happen without a change in the law to require that they resell new fiber (ala the one that makes them resell their copper to you). They have too much invested in this streaming TV stuff and the tiered internet lobbying to share :-(

That said, please prove me wrong (or find an alternative such as wimax), as I vastly prefer your service to Verizon's.

Thanks, should we presume that it is not going to happen or are you still working on it?

I haven't seen any recent information on FIOS and I was wondering if there was any update. Is DSLX still trying to get resale rights? Any time frame at all as to when it might be available?
