Wi-fi typically transmits at only 0.030-0.100 watts (30-100 milliwatts) when in an active data transmission. If you're going to "feel the effects" of wi-fi in 50 years, you're going to feel the effects of cell phones yesterday. How many college students have cell phones? Lots. How many have wi-fi that they will use ANYWAY? Lots. How pointless is any ban or lawsuit against wi-fi? Lots.
