[Connectivity] outage Colorado - does Comcast let you know when

I live in Northern Colorado and my cable went out yesterday late afternoon. I tried all the fixes to no avail - ended up calling Comcast to hear a recording stating that they were aware of the issue and were working on it. Then the recording asked if I would like to be called when the service was back up - I said yes. I waited for hours with no call. I ended up unplugging everything - plugging back in and now it works. // Does Comcast post when maintenance/outages happen and has anyone ever received a call back to say service is up - i sure didn't. Great service for almost $55 a month.

Go to this link and look in the left bottom hand corner of the window for the "NETWORK HEALTH" section. Sometimes, not always, they put major outages in there.

My advice to you, is to ignore the recorded message, and still talk to someone and let them know to open a service call.. that way they can get out there faster to fix it if they have addresses being affected.
