Hi,

These instructions are for a Linksys, but they should be much the same for a Netgear:

Hello. I am in need of some serious help and I hope that someone can give it to me.

I recently signed up for Verizon DSL. They sent me the Westell 327W Modem/Router and installation was no problem. I read some of the 327 reviews and decided to use a different router. I picked up a Netgear router and when I tried to install that the installation wizard told me that the Netgear was not getting any Internet connection. I contacted Verizon's tech support and they were no help.

I am assuming that there is a conflict with the 2 routers. Verizon told me that I could shut the Westell router off, even though I remember a post in this forum stating that you can.

If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
