| Cable video sucks
I'm a long time DTV and Dishnet user and recently moved to an appt. with no chance for Dish service. I signed up for Comcast's internet and Video and the quality of video is amazingly weak in comparison to Directv or Dishnetwork. I have the same HDTV as with satelite and its ridiculously bad via cable. I lost my 120gig Dishnet DVR and got an 80gig Cable HDTV recorder that lacks in size and quality. As for VOIP I don't really care because my cell phone is all I ever need/use and with unlimited cell usage so cheap why waste time with land lines and voip?
Now on the other hand internet is AMAZING on Comcast's 8.0/768 service and that's one thing they really do well at. The modems very small and easy to hide as well. |

Strange - around here, we're a digital simulcast area and cable easily beats out DirecTV for quality and HDTV options. I had DTV and when we got our HDTV bailed ($400 for a HDtivo + $10/mo, are you insane?). For $5 more than CC Cable + DTV, I get HD, DVR, and Internet.... |

| I think you're getting ripped off then lol Satellite kills Cable in picture quality and if you need to prove it call your cable provider and ask them directly if their signal is better. They will tell you all about their services and never answer the question because they know the answer. You can get better quality than cable over the air in most areas. |

| Thats great, I wish I could even get 1/2 the channels I paid for with comcast.
The picture sucks and hd is not real hd thru comcast. I get over the air HD and it kicks the crud out of comcasts and Im now negotiating an agreement to put a dishnet antenna on the roof here and getting rid of comcast and never looking back. Dishnet has far better service. |
