| Re: [OT] Anybody still up? said by pudding :Yo. I went to bed at 10pm (a ridiculously early time for me, but I was very tired and stressed out -- I quit smoking this week) and then woke up at 1:30am. I guess my brain thought I was taking a nap. Anyway, I'm toodling around on my PC and watching Futurama DVD's. Good on ya, Tapioca Cow! 25 January made 3 years for me; done cold turkey (now I only smoke hot turkey ). Surprised myself--by day 17 it was a non-issue. -- THE SENILITY PRAYER : Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference. | |

| Re: [OT] Anybody still up? said by WLiley :no nicotine & now no caffeine??? I cannot fathom the pain. Those are all I have left after doing everything else under the sun in decadent quantities. Best wishes Keeps me out of the psych ward! Common sense tells us they should let us have caffeine in hospital so any effect against the meds would show, but they don't.
So after a week on the inside and decaffeinated, might as well just stay that way.
I can get in enough trouble (or make an a$$ of myself) without chemical help--it's a gift. -- THE SENILITY PRAYER : Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference. | |
