I remember the incest capital of the north too, my wife was a nurse up there and they needed special training to deal with the problems of close genes. Preach to some unknowing fool, they may believe your rhetoric

Spare me the BS...
Mine was not BS, though I did latch upon your trollish OT which ought to have been ignored. My point was simply that leveraging a minor news story into an opportunity to advance sweeping political stereotypes or talking points is lame - so I answered in kind.

Buying politicians in the state of Massachusetts, who has heard of such a thing? LOL!!!
Bring back Mike Dukakus! Now there was a man with a good buy-able government structure!
Yeah, people up here make sweeping generalizations about the political history & culture of your state too. They generally have to do with racism, body fat, educational deficits, teen rape rates, and the bible belt problem.

Ignorance about the strengths & weaknesses of regional cultures is a problem here too and breeds similar social intolerance.
Spare me the BS, I owned a house in Mass for 20 years, lived there for over forty. I know the South has a terrible history, but I am not getting taxed to death anymore and I have no need for a snow shovel. I remember the incest capital of the north too, my wife was a nurse up there and they needed special training to deal with the problems of close genes. Preach to some unknowing fool, they may believe your rhetoric

It's a sad state of affairs to have to say the above, but I have to agree with jap See Profile. It just reminds us all "Those that live in glass houses..."

You can take comfort in knowing ignorance & intolerance is not just your problem.

Instead of spending resources to block the competition (whether they involve stealing pamphlets or buying politicians), these companies could divert a ton of money into infrastructure upgrades and enhanced services. Verizon seems to be the only one going that direction.
