They generally have to do with racism, body fat, educational deficits, teen rape rates, and the bible belt problem.

Ignorance about the strengths & weaknesses of regional cultures is a problem here too and breeds similar social intolerance. Spare me the BS, I owned a house in Mass for 20 years, lived there for over forty. I know the South has a terrible history, but I am not getting taxed to death anymore and I have no need for a snow shovel. I remember the incest capital of the north too, my wife was a nurse up there and they needed special training to deal with the problems of close genes.
